Apes with Attitudes

 

Chimpanzees and Gorilla are simply my favorites apes. They are so human in their expression (no wonder chimpanzee share 98% of our genome) that I couldn't help allowing a little bit of anthropomorphisme and project humans attitudes in them in a painting.

​

So here the Chimpanzee is playing chess and calculating way in advance his next steps, as the Gorilla is smoking his cigare like a Big Boss!

Colors are vibrant since this series is an extension of the Pop series.
